Thai floating market :P (Ratchaburi)

Sawaddeeka >///<'' It's been a while for outta city travel ever since March ! It's too hot nowadays to go anywhere. Believe me, I'm melting here in Thailand. I think there's only summer season over here - -""", even though my friend convinced me so hard that there are 3 seasons here (don't believe him -*-).

Anyways, I decided to come out because my friend volunteers (VOLUNTEER!!! not forced haha) to take me out to Ratchaburi province.

We start off at the most famous place in Thailand for our breakfast which is 7 eleven. :) Ham & Cheese sandwiches, Cheese Doritos and nice cold Yakult are a perfect starter of the day.

"Dumnern Saduak Floating Market (ตลาดน้ำดำเนินสะดวก)"

We finally arrived at our first target after long and tired hours of "sitting" in the car, since I'm not the one driving hehe. This place is called Dumnern Saduak Floating Market. It existed for almost hundred years and is one of the most famous floating market in Thailand among both Thais and Tourists.

Sadly, we were too late when we arrived. Most stores were closed already since people come here around 7-9 in the morning. But still we decided to take a look around. There are two kinds of boat to choose: paddle boat and motor boat. We chose paddle boat since it's cheaper (100 baht per person)

Was super "HOT" but the merchant was too kind to give us hats :), my friend is still melting though....with all his sweat and everything ewwwww.

The floating market has its system,  the owner of the shop will use a long stick to hook us in, while the one who paddle will try to suggest us to buy this and that. Good way to survive these days, stick and help each other : ). BUT, they deal with a wrong guest haha, we were not interested in anything but food!!

The above one is mine "Woonsen, clear soup" and the other is "Senmee, Tom yum". Both are yum, but I don't eat anything except the noodle =3=. Don't say anything!!, I'm quite sensitive with the ingredient you know? haha

The boat stopped at the sugar factory, which allowed us to take a walk around there around 10 minutes.

Sugar cookie and me with weirdo! haha

"Don Hoilod (ดอนหอยหลอด)"

This is the famous place for Razor clams. It's a mix between salt water from ocean, and fresh water from river, good place for this clams to grow. It was super hot (again), and windy (I'm like a Loreal presenter -*-)  You will find many people running around in the muddy lake, trying to search for the razor clams. There are even boats service to take the tourists to go around, collecting clams from far away. We didn't stay long though, and decided to go find something to eat.....again? haha it's 1 pm. already come on!

 "Kunlin (คุ้นลิ้น)

I was shocked at first, since my friend told me that the welcome sign is "Welcome to monkey empire, Kunlin Restaurant". He said this place used to have a lot of monkeys, but thx god that there were none that day.
Not so many customers around this time, since it's a bit too late to eat. Our lunch are "Tod mun kung (fried shrimp coroke)", "Hoilod pud prick pao (Fried razor clams with chili paste)", and "Crab fried rice"....and sprite :P.
The price is 440 baht which is quite alright, and the clams are fresh too.

Then we decided to head back to BKK and go wash our mouth with evening desserts - no dinner for today!! ><!
