Seoul Dakgalbi (Sukhumvit 49)

어서오세요! (Welcome Kaaa)

Recently BKK rains Morning 'til Evening in BKK...Blaeeee!! - -* But it's rainy season so.... yeah, has to face it.

Anyways, today is not raining so I decided to give it a go for some new restaurant. Grabbed my bag, called my driver, and wait patiently for the limo to arrive hehe (hoped he doesn't see this)
The location is Seoul Dakgalbi in Sukhumvit 49. If you come from Sukhumvit 49, turn left on the first intersection and it'll be at the opposite side of Starbucks in Piman 49.

Piman 49 - Seoul Dakgalbi

The restaurant is on the third floor. You have to get into the Chinese restaurant called "Peng-You" to get into the elevator.

Once you get inside : )

No one is here when we get there, may be it's new restaurant? I feel kidda warm and comfortable inside, feels like I'm back in my hometown. The owner is also Korean I think, but she talked to me in....Thai.....huh??

Menu
The menu is the same as it's name, Dakgalbi is more or less the only thing they sell here. That price 275 Baht is per person. We went there 2 people so it's 550 Baht. If you happen to come here, my suggestion is to order only Dakgalbi, and add the rice later on

This place will give you the apron for you to wear, so don't worry if it's gonna get messy!
Dakgalbi before cooking
Real cooking skill !
It's covered with that round stainless to prevent splashing....wait, what's the point of having apron again? haha
Me with my fake cooking skill !
This is a mixed Chicken with vegetables and rice cake cooked by...the waiter haha. Don't worry if you don't know how to mix it, they will do it for you.
DONE! (ate abit already and realize that I have to take picture....blame my belly!! ><)

After we ate abit, we decided to order one bowl of plain rice to mix with our Dakgalbi (it's the way to eat this food). The owner (I think she is) walked in and give us the seaweed and said that it tastes better with it. She talked to me in Thai, as I told you haha.
Unknown Fat guy..... hehe
Overall, I give it a 7 out of 10. My driver said the taste is not as strong as he expected so he gave a 6.
Price is quite ok, ends up with 660 Baht including the service charge and VAT.

We actually went to Gute Cafe in the opposite side of the restaurant (still in Piman 49) but I didn't take any picture of it so haha no review for that!
